These photos were taken by NCDOT Division 1 personnel after a nor'easter in early March 2001. Portions of the dune line were damaged at the Rodanthe hot spot as a result of the storm. The pictures show the flooding and overwash that occurred along NC 12. Click on the pictures to see larger views.
